Short, Sharp, Shiny Fringe Show Suggestions
Ah, Fringe season is here. It’s that time of year when drinking on a weeknight becomes socially acceptable, because you’re doing it at an artsy pop-up bar in the middle of a park. But did you know the Adelaide Fringe also contains an array of performances, many of which will allow you to drink AND be entertained at the same time? Mind-blowing.
Allow me to present the first of many short, sharp and shiny Fringe Show suggestions:
Zach & Viggo: Thunderflop
If you appreciate and enjoy any of the following, this is the show for you:
Claw machines, weddings, Kiss Cams, Pauline Hanson jokes, cucumbers, and/or miniature saxophones. It’s clowning, stupidity, hilarious skits, improvisation, and audience participation rolled into one (for maximum participation, sit in the front rows or aisle seats).
A great one to see with a beer in your hand, just make sure it doesn’t come out your nose when you laugh too hard (I’m serious, it happened to a friend… not me).
Where can I see this dynamic duo, you ask? 7pm every weeknight of the Fringe, in the Garden of Unearthly Delights.
WARNING: Not for grumpy bums with no sense of humour.
